April and May continued to provide good numbers of Brown Trout with some sizeable fish coming to the net. 

Some high water in April must have encouraged a run of early Salmon as Steve Manning was fortunate enough to land a beautiful Springer at the end of the month.                                                  Heavy rainfall in late May-early June brought some Sea trout into the pools but although showing themselves, they were proving difficult to catch with only a couple of fish coming to the net.

June continued to provide good sport with Brown Trout.

With very little rainfall in July, river levels remained low throughout the month and although the trout fishing remained good, the seatrout were proving difficult even at night, although a few small ones were being caught at dusk while fishing for trout on dries.
