Our newly acquired beat on the River Usk opened on 3rd March and produced a few early season Brown Trout on a combination of both nymphs and dries. Heavy rainfall during the month kept the river level rising and falling, yet there were plenty of opportunities to venture out with the fly rod.

                  Heavy rainfall continued into April and the month produced some nice Brownies off our Towy beats which opened on 1st April.
